Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift - Faribault, MN

Our customer is a leader in the HVAC industry, and currently seeking 2 experienced Production Supervisors for 2nd shift roles. We are looking for candidates with a drive to excel in a rapidly growing manufacturing environment. There is plenty of room to grow with the company, and advancement opportunities exist for these roles. These positions are all available due to company expansion. The supervisors in these roles lead production employees in the manufacture of technologically advanced HVAC parts and equipment for the commercial and residential markets. In this role, you will be responsible a team of about 30 production employees. These are direct hire positions. Current hours are 4 10 hours days from 4pm – 3am Monday – Thursday. Paid overtime is frequent on Fridays and Saturdays. Responsibilities Monitors production activities to eliminate delays and ensure adherence to production and shipping schedules. Assists in carrying out production objectives at the lowest cost, consistent with the organization's quality requirements. Assures safety and product quality while improving production procedures. Coordinates work flow with the various departments involve Reports damaged and defective equipment to management. Trains other employees in day to day procedures. Maintains quality/quantity standards regarding output. Analyzes work orders to estimate worker hours and create machining schedules that meet both internal and external needs. Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties. Plans flow of materials through department according to work orders. Interfaces with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met. Inspects and measures parts and products to verify conformance to specifications. Directs workers in adjusting machines and equipment to repair products that fail to meet standards. Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew. Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems. Maintains time and production records. Assists with capital equipment justifications for machine tools and process technology to improve quality, cost, and cycle times. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree and at least three years of supervisory experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Experience supervising 15-40 employees in a manufacturing setting including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Test Engineer - Plymouth, MN

Our client provides broadband communications access systems and associated software solutions for residential and commercial clients and is a leader in delivering broadband services. We are currently looking for a hardware test engineer to perform test and evaluation and qualifying of Ethernet interface to optical transceivers. The successful candidate will have a background in electronics or hardware and experienced with either Ethernet Test or Data Test and other general electronics testing. Training will be provided with respect to specialty hardware knowledge and the established test process. Our client is a global leader in Industrial Metrology equipment, and are looking for a Part-Time contract Mechanical Designer to use Pro-Engineer CAD tools to fill a significant role designing mechanical parts, product components, assemblies, machines and machine tools. Length of assignment is approximately 6 months - pay rate is $16.50 on first shift and $18.15 for 2nd shift 2 first shift positions available Conformal Coating Operator – First shift position Production Operator – First shift position 3 second shift positions available Production Operator – first shift Responsibilities: · production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables · Follows methods, techniques, and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, & cable harnessing on subassemblies and units · May be involved in packing tasks · May count and sort various product items, placing labels on packages, put manuals into binders, and form or break down boxes for the final product · May conduct manufacturing inspections on processing line in accordance to quality specifications · May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions Requirements: · Ability to use hand/torque tools, soldering irons, other light industrial tools · General communication and interpersonal skills · Ability to set up basic equipment and process hardware compliantly to specifications · General knowledge of measuring equipment and math · General computer skills · Reading English is a must · High school diploma required with the ability to comprehend and understand complex written instruction. · Conformal coating entry level position on first shift (1 opening) involves the masking of no coat areas on assemblies, potting of connectors, hand brush techniques using a microscope and black lighting as well as spray booth applications. There is some mild exposure to solvents and other chemicals that may irritate individuals that are sensitive to those types of chemicals. Experience with working with the aid of a microscope is preferred. As a conformal coating operator an artistic touch may be of benefit. Technical Product Manager Our client is a growing provider of packaging and industrial printing solutions and services. The Technical Product Manager oversees technical aspects for Continuous inkjet printers (CIJ) and laser coders. Duties include oversight of product and production testing, providing technical support to distributors, technical training, involvement in major sales projects, sample labs, testing equipment, administering warranty program, parts stocking and managing field service technician(s). A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. This is a direct hire position located in Brooklyn Park, MN. RESPONSIBILITIES: Product and production testing and development Perform ink testing and certification Support technical requirements for distributor sales activities and project development. Assist with application assessment and configuration. Recommend appropriate inks for applications. Determine if new ink needs to be developed. Provide advanced technical training for distributor technicians. Monitor distributors for service technician performance and formal training. Manage sample preparation Maintain training and sample lab equipment Assist with warranty claims and parts stock management Requirements: Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience with CIJ inkjet or related products.
