The Senior Program Manager will act as a Core Team Lead (CTL) for the Structural Heart UKCA and MDR OEU Programs.  The Sr. Program Manager will be responsible for successfully leading the cross-functional core team in the planning, approval, and global market launch of all Structural Heart MDR-approved products.  As CTL, they will be responsible for ensuring the portfolio for SH products are approved and commercialized on-time, on budget, with agreed scope, with best-in-class quality and meeting desired business outcomes.

The Sr. Program Manager is expected to work across the organization in partnership with the SH RPM Portfolio Core Team, MDR Core Team, and TAVI Global Markets Team to effectively execute on key project commitments for the business.  The Sr. Program Manager will have an in-depth technical knowledge of Structural Heart products, the ability to think strategically, and drive strategic alignment across the business.

•You will serve as the core team leader on moderate to high complexity business critical programs by providing overall leadership, vision, direction, and structure to our cross-functional core team.
•You will lead the team to deliver on business objectives and ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded; You will lead with integrity, passion, and humility.
•You represent the program and are accountable to SH Leadership for overall project/program execution and ensuring team commitments (project contract) are met.
•You will proactively apply project management tools and techniques for project scoping and planning; Define functional deliverables to achieve project objectives and scope; Create an accurate project schedule and identify critical path activities; Look at various opportunities to influence critical path/schedule; Determine required project budget (direct expenses, labor expenses and capital expenses) and manage team to execute within budget.
•Leads core team meetings and other necessary meetings to drive best in class program execution; Continually improves quality and effectiveness of how meetings are run, decisions are made, and how work gets done.
•Controls project scope and manages changes; solicits and understands the business/customer needs; rescopes the program when there is a shift in need.
•Proactively identifies, mitigates, and takes responsible risks. Experience with risk planning, management, risk strategies, and develops accurate risk adjusted schedule.
•Ensure lessons learned are documented throughout the project/program execution and identifies areas of opportunities for improvement.
•You will demonstrate high emotional intelligence; build trust, rapport and respect with project team members and stakeholders; Engage in honest and transparent conversations.
•Through effective information flow and interaction, you will develop harmonious working relations with other functions, and ensure employees within the team have the necessary information and resources to effectively perform their jobs.
•Develop core team members by providing coaching and development.  Serve as an advisor regarding tasks, projects, and operations.  Evaluate and provide candid feedback to core team members as well as their managers on an as needed basis.
•Displays perseverance and continues appropriate forward momentum by keeping core team engaged, even when faced with crisis, and/or changes; Effectively manages and resolves issues with core team and when needed escalates issue to cross-functional management per established issue escalation pathway
•You will create a team culture where team members act with high sense of urgency and accountability to meet/exceed their individual and project goals; Encourage a team culture that challenges traditions, fosters non-judgements, rewards creativity, and elimination of non-value-added work
•You will lead the core team in an unbiased way such that all voices are considered before we take decisions; facilitate the team in making decisions based on appropriate consideration of the trade-offs.
•Identifies and manages stakeholders; Keeps stakeholders informed with appropriate and timely information.
•Demonstrates effective collaborative team processes for conflict resolution.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree required
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
Nice to Have
•Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Science Field
•Certified PMI Project Management Professional preferred
•Experience in Project Management with progressively increasing managerial and technical roles
•Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and in budget
•Medical device product development experience
•Medical device development
•Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills and stakeholder management
•Proven ability to deliver Projects on time, within budget, meeting business expectations
•Experienced with Microsoft project and office
•Demonstrated strong planning and organizational skills
•Ability to work, influence and lead in a matrix environment.
