Electrical Engineer
Position Summary
As an Electrical Engineer, we’ll count on your strong design experience to develop, maintain and improve Banner products. This position is ideal for a highly motivated self-starter who excels when participating as a member of a larger multidisciplinary team yet can also work independently with limited direction. This is a full-time, permanent position based at our corporate headquarters located at Highways 169 and 55 in Plymouth.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Develop and execute product design and test plans
• Translate product specifications and requirements into effective product designs
• Develop and implement efficient and reliable processes
• Collaborate with other departments and regulatory agencies
• Manage product documentation including system level design documents, system test plans, product verification reports, and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)

What You Bring to the Table
REQUIRED
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
PREFERRED
• Strong understanding of analog, digital and microcontroller-based circuitry
• Experience in product design for industrial applications
• Experience resolving EMC challenges
• Strong experimental design and problem-solving skills
• Exposure to product and test standards
• Working knowledge of basic electrical modeling and design tools (such as pSpice)
• PCB design and layout experience
• Use of spectral analyzers, data acquisition systems, etc.
• Basic knowledge of MATLAB, C, and C++
