Engineering Technician

What you will do:  In support of HVAC development programs, technician installs, tests, calibrates, and repairs electromechanical, and electronic measuring, recording, and indicating instruments and equipment for conformance to established standards, by performing the following duties:

Essential Responsibilties:

Conducts testing and calibration procedures in support of HVAC development programs as directed with supervision.

Sets up standard and special purpose laboratory instrumentation to test and evaluate HVAC equipment with supervision.

Proactively engages in safe working habits following the applicable standards.

Supports technical center initiatives by assisting with projects as assigned.

Important to Know:

· Individuals must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Two year technical degree in a related field and/or one year related experience preferred.
Preferred:

Experience in the HVAC industry.
