Lead Systems Project Engineer
Responsibilities: Manage multiple large-scale projects from research and development to testing and
implementation. Design and fabricate hardware and software required for project testing and analysis. Build and
maintain strong working relationships with several Government and industry partners. Provide Information
Assurance Management and Information Technology support.
• Use Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint to prepare Scopes of Work and Project Schedules to
determine and follow multi-million dollar budgets and multi-year timelines
• Design and review system integration diagrams and system checkout procedures to acquire system
testing data
• Coordinate review of testing data and organize and present testing results using papers and presentations
• Coordinate with multiple sub-contractors and outside vendors by preparing and executing Preliminary
and Critical Design Reviews, Technical Interchange Meetings, and Test Readiness Reviews
• Design signal conditioning circuit board to amplify, gain, and distribute 16 analog channels and
integrate with LabVIEW acquisition card in an isolated data acquisition box
• Design LabVIEW software to acquire and display analog test signals across multiple platforms with
varying signal conditioning and display requirements
• Design LabVIEW software to analyze test data, compare data to pass/fail criteria, and generate full
report with graphs and pass/fail results
• Conduct Software and Hardware Verification and Validation by designing test setups and procedures,
collecting and reviewing results, and developing reports and plans of action based on testing results
• Develop and maintain System Security Plans, conduct weekly monitoring and updates, integrate new
computer hardware, and troubleshoot Windows and hardware errors for a computer network consisting
of 3 separate Local Area Network computer systems and 15 stand alone mobile test systems with 20
users

Responsibilities: Lead designer and fabricator of data acquisition and waveform generation circuits and software
programs. Test engineer in support of large scale submarine and surface ship acoustic trials. Lead recruitment
and training coordinator for new engineers and engineering interns.
• Designed and fabricated GPS clocks, computer chassis, high-gain speakers, and transducer relay boxes
used in an Acoustic Tracking System
• Designed and fabricated a system reset box, controller box, and cable junction box used in the Vibration
Waveform Generation System
• Designed and implemented GPS Tracking System for Surface Ship acoustic testing
• Supported transducer install and checkout, onboard testing, and transducer offload for over 30
submarine and 5 surface ship acoustic trials
• Coordinated teams of two to six technical personnel for testing installations and removals
