GPA: 3.23
CERTIFICATION: EIT (engineer in training); passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam on October, 2011
ENGINEERING & MECHANICAL EXPERIENCE:
Electrical leader on the SCSU Formula-Hybrid team. Collaborated with the mechanical and fabrication team on designing a hybrid vehicle. The vehicle was then taken to New Hampshire to compete in the FSAE IEEE Formula-Hybrid competition on May 3rd – 6th , 2010. (http://studentorg.stcloudstate.edu/asme/)
Computer programming & troubleshooting experience with: PSPICE, LTSPICE, Orcad, VHDL, Verilog, MATLAB, Simulink, NI Labview, ProE, SolidWorks, Ladder logic, Cadence, Assembly, C, C++, C# and Microsoft office.
Built an automated miniature car racing ramp, variable regulated DC power supply, electric go kart, solar panels, bike powered alternator, solenoid button pusher, solar powered aerator, and a square wave power inverter www.youtube.com/baboracus.
Built a Megasquirt programmable fuel injection system for a 1999 Hyundai Accent.
EMPLOYMENT:
Self-Employed, Otsego, MN August ’14 – October ’15
Complete Home Re-build
Designed and installed a residential 200A socket meter and circuit breaker box with all the corresponding conduit, wire size, grounding and connections consistent with the NFPA/National Electric Code during the summer of 2015.
Renovated all the following in an old house: insulation, wall frames, drywall, kitchen cabinets, 2 bathroom shower/ tub surrounds and vanities, floors, floor covering, roofing, furnace, water heater, water softener, wiring, HVAC vents, and landscaping overgrown trees/foliage.
BAE Systems, Fridley, MN April ’12 – March ’14
Associate Electrical Engineer
Gather and prepare hardware/logic design, performance/safety requirements, budget, manufacturing, plans and scheduling documents to present during each engineering phase.
Traveled to Santa Clara on 5 separate occasions to draft a test procedure and run both hardware and logic tests on a component that was later integrated into a large scale hybrid vehicle test platform.
Working experience with the following electrical test items: Digital multi-meter, oscilloscope, signal generator, frequency spectrum analyzer, and custom test boxes.
Oscilloscope was used to determine the PWM input and output at various locations on the testing item. Multi-meter was used to determine the temperature, resistance, voltage and current. Built a test box to simulate the expected signals going to and from the item in test to determine if item in test would act accordingly and if not, pinpoint the failures, correct them and document the problem. Test box also simulated faults to ensure that the state machine would properly access all of its states.
Chegg, Work-at-home May ’13 – December ’14
Solve textbook solutions and provide a step-by-step explanation of how to solve the problem using Mathtype to write the equations and Drawplus to illustrate the diagrams and MS word to present it in a finished format.
Worked with the following textbooks: Electrical Machinery, Fundamentals of Microelectronics and Modern Electronic Communication
Design Ready Controls, Rockford, MN April ’11 – August ’11
Wire HVAC panels, gas boxes, furnace controls, junction boxes, return boxes and bypass boxes.
Central MN Driving Academy, St Cloud, MN October ’06 – April ’11
Instruct students how to properly follow the rules and regulations of operating a motor vehicle on MN public roads.
