Electrical Engineer
Summary
I am first and foremost a problem solver. I have a passion for all aspects of product development,
including design, test, and troubleshooting. Ever since I was a kid tearing apart hand-held
electronics to see what was inside, I knew I would end up being an engineer. My competitive nature
drives me to be the best and expect nothing less from myself. These core interests and values have
gotten me to where I am today.
I am a recent grad from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical
Engineering. Since graduating I have put my interests of circuit design and embedded programming,
along with my passion for problem solving, to practice at Milwaukee Electric Tool in an electrical
product development role.
My previous industry experience with embedded programming, project management, and electrical
system diagnostics comes from internships at GE Healthcare and Ford Motor Company, as well as
working with a local Madison, WI start-up, Fetch Rewards, LLC.
I always enjoy connecting with old classmates, colleagues, and new friends so feel free to connect or
to contact me personally at carter.ypma@gmail.com.
