Duties: I manage employees to be safe, efficient, and to work as a team. I ensure the quality of the dock is optimal for the operation to run successfully. I ensure loads are stacked correctly cubed to utilize any and all space available. Run reports of my operations BPH and make adjustments as needed to the operation. Discipline employees as necessary. Communicate between CDO and Linehaul personnel to major changes made for loads and ensure freight services on time for our customers.
Accomplishments: I was offered the Operations Manager position in only a month of employment for my success in running my operation safely and efficiently.

Duties: I am in control of planning man-power based off expected production, managing hours using the AS400 System, cutting costs wherever and whenever possible, minimizing risks creating a safer environment, documenting employee’s productions and progressions each day, provide coaching and follow-ups to employees that need it, provide leadership and direction for my employees to reach a common goal as a team, resolve any issue detrimental to the operation swiftly and thoroughly, track shift progress and coordinate a plan when adjustments are needed, assist in dispatching drivers, ensure destinations are cut on time to make service, and come prepared ready to make a difference.
Accomplishments: I increased productivity and output while also raising the average standards originally set forth for my terminal shift. I communicated with upper management with any issues to maintain a team environment. I provided leadership and coaching to employees to help them reach our team goals for the last Quarter in 2014.
