SUMMARY
I have training from one of the top trade schools in the major welding & cutting processes, as well as thirteen years of welding and fabrication experience using aluminum, brass, copper, mild and stainless steels. I acquired five years of Welding supervisor experience at Hydro-Dyne engineering, a company that manufactures stainless steel water and waste water screening equipment and attained Certified Welding Inspector status in 2015 from The American Welding Society while working there.

My main duties as a third-party inspector include producing daily inspection reports that detail the procedures, welding processes and fabrication methods used at various shops and jobsites, working with contractors and supervisors to achieve results satisfactory to our customer's needs and helping welders, fabricators, QC & QA managers maintain adherence to the applicable welding, fabrication and State codes.

APRIL 2015- OCTOBER 2015
WELDING INSPECTOR, TAMPA TANK TAMPA, FL.
Interpret blueprints to insure dimensional tolerances and fit up are correctly done and used AWS D1.5 and D1.1 code books to maintain adherence to code specifications. I used various inspection gauges to check dimensions of welds and discontinuities. Responsible for making sure welders follow WPS's and repair procedures. Performed nightly WPS audits of welding machines to insure welders stay within parameters of the WPS's.

OCTOBER 2009- APRIL 2015

Combined welding techniques, knowledge of metallurgy and engineering requirements to produce quality work. Inspected grooves, angles and gap allowances with micrometer, caliper and precision measuring instruments.
