Work Experience
3/15-To Date QA/QC Field Manager
Sunland Construction (Eunice, La)
Manage the Job Site QA/QC procedures, documents and the input of data in the QA/QC documents. These documents include but are not limited to Mechanical / Civil “As-Built” Red-Line Drawings, MTR’s, X-ray, Hydro-Test, Weld mapping, Soil Compaction/Density Test, Concrete PSI Break Test, Change Orders, RFI’s and Non Conformance reports. Additionally, I work as an Estimator/Project Manager for the Station Division of Sunland.

3/08 –2/15 Oil & Gas Construction Superintendent*Consultant
Self Employed (Stonewall, La.)
Managed construction of ~150 miles of pipeline, and ~200 Tank Batteries for Independent E & P Companies. Reduced their initial construction cost from ~$1M to ~$500K. Assured all work complied with API, ASME, CFR, & DOT regulations, as well as their Company Specifications. Facilitated PSSR’s and Commissioning activities with Production Operators. Ensured all Contractors complied with Safety, Health, & Environmental policies and regulations. All Projects completed Incident and Injury Free.

7/01 – 2/08 General Superintendent / Assistant Construction Manager (2006-2008)
Dynamic Angola LDA / Dynamic Industries (Luanda Angola/Lafayette, La)
Managed the Greenfield installation of 2 Offshore Oil Production Platforms and 1 Brownfield Tie-back to an existing Oil Production Platform off the coast of Soyo, Angola. Supervised team of ~80 Ex-Pat’s and ~100 Angolans’. Expedited equipment & material from the USA to Angola by utilizing and working with Bureau Veritas, Panalpina and the Angolan Consulate.

Project Manager (2005)
Managed a team of Electricians, Pipe Fitters and Pipe Welders on the Delta South Water Injection Project in the Niger Delta near Lekki, Nigeria

Project Superintendent (2003-2004)
Supervised crew of 120 rotational employees including Foreman, Pipe Fitters, Pipe Welders, Crane Operators and Riggers on the Shell Bonga FPSO off the coast of Nigeria.

Offshore Construction Superintendent (2001-2003)

11/96 – 6/01 Offshore Construction Superintendent
Chet Morrison Contractors (Houma, La)
Supervised the installation & hook up of multiple Offshore Production Platforms (Fixed and TLP) for major E & P companies in the Gulf of Mexico. Supervise the installation of Offshore Pipelines.

3/94 – 10/96 CWI/Pipe Foreman
RUST Constructors (Mansfield, La)
Supervised a team of pipe welders and pipe fitters installing a Gas Fired Boiler. I visually inspected and documented all pipe fit ups prior to welding, monitored temperature, volts/amps during welding and controlled cool down upon completion of all welds to ensure quality in accordance with the guidelines of ASME B31.1 Boiler Codes. Scheduled all PWHT (Stress Relieving), Radiography testing and worked in conjunction with the State AI Boiler Inspector.
