Senior Engineer
• Carried out all phases of instrumentation and controls design for clients of this multi-national consulting firm. Member of the Engineering Practice Group, primarily supporting water and wastewater clients.
• Performed SCADA and plant control system integration (programming) for Human Machine Interfaces (HMI).
• Served as a Design Engineer, Project Manager, and Technical Expert on various projects.

• Led a team of 5 that carried out the design of a wastewater treatment plant process control system (PCS) and integrated SCADA system for 23 remote pumping stations for Rockland County Water Authority. Performed and oversaw evaluation, design, and construction administration.
• Designed a PCS and SCADA upgrade encompassing 4 South Central Connecticut Regional Water Authority water treatment plants, a central monitoring station, and a disaster recovery backup station. Performed detailed design work to retrofit existing control panels to include new PLCs, network hardware, and electrical components. Conducted a detailed analysis of hardware, software, and system configuration options for the client. Completed design and secured a construction contract.
• Project Engineer for the New York City Bureau of Wastewater Treatment’s Citywide Collection Facilities Integrated SCADA System project. Performed quality assurance, cyber-security evaluation, and redundant wireless communications testing for a SCADA system encompassing 244 locations.

Designed and implemented a plant process control system (PCS) for a 7.5 MGD plant and carried out all PCS programming, including redundant iFix servers, redundant PLCs in 4 control areas, a touchscreen panel HMI, fiber optic network, and more. Also performed shop drawing reviews, inspections, startup services management, and client/contractor coordination.
CAREER NOTES: Previously held the position of Project Engineer at Killam Associates. Designed SCADA and instrumentation systems for water and wastewater clients. Developed risk assessment and management plans.
