David Coe
Engineer, Husband, Maker… a Jack of All Trades Master of Some, type.
I have five years of experience working in the Electrical Utility industry, working for Texas’ largest utility, Oncor Electric Delivery. While there I was pivotal in a small team of 8, which was responsible for the Design, O&M, and continuing expansion of the entire AMS/AMI network, which at 80,000+ sq miles is also one of the largest in the nation. In this role I spent most my time in a RF Network Engineer role, with the task of assessing and perfecting the AMS network. With this came experience with data collection automation and analysis, as well design and placement of RF equipment and infrastructure blending, fiber optic, copper, cellular, RF point-to-point and self-healing mesh, communication technologies.

I am was also a founding member and vice-president of the local Toastmasters International chapter, so I am well adjusted to speaking in front of groups and giving presentations, and a well versed communicator in general.

I am interested in a position in the RF or Renewable Energy fields or any position in a R&D type environment. I am also interested in continuing in the electric utility field, especially in a position obtaining to AMI or Smart Grid Planning and Design. Most importantly, I am interested in a position that is challenging and rewarding.
