Principal responsibilities:
• Design, build and repair PLC logic driven controls for CNC machinery and material handling.
• Assist in maintaining facility and equipment in a safe and operational state of readiness at all times in
order to meet daily production requirements.

Highlights:
• Designed a system to measure parts loaded into a CNC machine to determine if the part is loaded
correctly. In this system G-Code is used to communicate with a PLC. If the part is loaded incorrectly the
PLC tells the CNC machine to display an error message to the operator.
• Reprogrammed a new welding robot’s PLC to function correctly because it was improperly configured
at the factory. This also included reprogrammed the safety controller for safer operations.

Operations Shift Supervisor 2008 to 2015

Principal responsibilities:
• Supervising Auxiliary Operators performing uranium enrichment activities for Centrus Energy’s
demonstration facility.
• Ensuring conduct of operations is being followed.
• Coordinating calibrations and preventative maintenance and repairs with the maintenance department,
including Lockout Tag-out and work package reviews.
• Assisting operations analysis to monitor and trend production data for safe and optimum plant
performance.

Highlights:
• Worked closely with engineering to design plant systems and to improve current systems.
• Assisted engineering in creating test plans for new equipment.
• Subject Matter Expert on Main Process Power, Auxiliary Power Substations, Auxiliary Standby Diesel
Generators and the Uninterruptible Power Supply systems.
• Performed multiple integrated systems testing for the Research, Development and Demonstration
project.
• Using C++ a training program was created to help employees study for qualification questions.
• Qualifications included: Facility Custodian, Material Balance Area representative, Conduct of Operations,

• Operated plant equipment for uranium enrichment production under the direction of the Operations
Shift Supervisor.
• Worked with engineering to developed start-up plans and testing.

Highlights:
• Developed the initial procedures and training for the plant power systems.
• Created a training simulator for electrical substation operations using PowerPoint and VBA.

Electronics Technician 2001 to 2005

Principal responsibilities:
• Maintenance and repair of the Automated Surface Observation System (ASOS) weather reporting
system, UMQ-5 wind bird, 2446/U-001 digital weather indicators, WSR-88D (NEXRAD) radar weather
system, AN/FSN-7 airfield lighting system, and all ground-to-air and ground-to-ground radio systems.

Highlights:
• Repaired many outdated pieces of equipment with little to no literature or schematics.
• Found suitable replacement parts and fabricated wiring saving the U. S. Navy thousands of dollars.
• Contacted by technicians from other bases for remote troubleshooting assistance on weather
equipment.
