Construction Experience: Phoenix Group Contracting, LLC, Queensbury, New York, 9/2008 – present Engineering and Construction Company • Riis Park Superstorm Sandy Repair: Design/Build the electrical repairs to the entry pavilion, police station, lifeguard station, first aid station. This includes the fire alarm system, IT work, switch gear repairs, lighting and general electrical repairs/replacements. • Castle William Lighting and Fire Alarm System at Governors Island: Electrical contractor for the installation for area and egress lighting and installation, testing and certifying of new fire alarm system for the entire castle. • Liberty and Ellis Island Power and Communication: Electrical contractor for the installation of a power and communication infrastructure project. Project included installing rigid conduit, hand holes, UPS systems, installation, testing and certification of fiber optic systems in and around Ellis Island and Liberty Island including the Statue of Liberty. • Watervliet Arsenal Bldg. 10 Basement Office Remodel: Electrical and mechanical contractor for office remodeling. Project included lighting, outlets, telecommunication, HVAC and power distribution. • Syracuse Naval Reserve – Parking Lot and Building Modifications: Electrical contractor for the site and building installation of improved parking lot lighting, security gate controls and building fire alarm system. Project included 30 and 15 foot outdoor parking lot lighting, integrating new security gates with indoor controls for entry and the removal and installation of a new fire alarm system to incorporate two floors. • Castle Point VA Campus Water Intake Building: Electrical and mechanical contractor for the installation of a new water intake building and the electrical demolition of the existing water intake building. Project included indoor and outdoor lighting, 100kva diesel generator, convenience outlets, heating, ventilation, power distribution (site and building), telecommunications, pump control system, plumbing, and fire alarm system. • Plaza Building Boiler Replacement: Electrical contractor for the removal and installation of new boilers and ancillary equipment in the basement of the Plaza building. Project included the removal and installation of new distribution power to the boilers, pumps, HVAC system and Fuel Oil set. Installed new emergency power panel and main disconnect switch, variable frequency drives (VFD) for 75 HP pumps, and motor starters for miscellaneous pumps and HVAC equipment. Cutting Edge Group, LLC, Lake George, New York, 02/2002 – 02/2004 Engineering and Construction Company Project Manager: JOC (Job Order Contract) coordinator for the New York State DEC Region contract. Provided pricing, schedules, technical guidance and construction management. Project manager for a number of State and Federal jobs from installing theatrical lighting in a National fish and Wildlife discovery center to installing solar powered outhouses. Manufacturing Experience: Burrows Paper Corporation, Little Falls, New York, 1/1998 – 02/2002; 02/2004 – 08/2008 Pulp, Paper & Converting Company • Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer: Planned, budgeted, designed, engineered and installed large projects dealing with controls and drives, boiler plant projects and paper machine rebuilds. Project manager for multiple projects throughout Burrows many plants including assisting with the installation and startup of a new plant in Reno, Nevada. • Sr. E&I Engineer: Managed the electrical engineering group for corporate engineering and provided project manager services for all the Burrows facilities. Was instrumental in advancing the motion and PLC control to the converting and paper facilities to gain a large competitive advantage over its competitors. Worked on the initial phases of setting up outside consulting and engineering services for Burrows Equipment Services Division. • Maintenance and Engineering Manager: Developed the packaging group engineering and maintenance. Managed the engineering staff and technician staff working on large capital projects to small maintenance projects. Instrumental in the development of the preventive maintenance program and the predictive maintenance program. Setup bearing analysis program, infrared scanning routes, leak detection program (hydraulic and pneumatic) and machine preventive task lists. Integrated a CMMS system with our maintenance teams to streamline parts and job orders.
