Acting supervisor of Machine Shop, Inspection, and Paint departments on 2nd shift, with direct reports ranging
from 6 to 10 on my shift. Indirectly supervise around 80-90 employees on all shifts total.
Manage job flow at work centers and push manufacturing of priority parts as required. Coordinate and
communicate with production control, engineering, quality, sales, and service departments on a regular basis to
ensure smooth and timely production flow.
Monitor quality in all aspects of production. Determine root cause and corrective action(s) taken for
nonconforming parts in process.
Diagnose and troubleshoot machine breakdowns and delays.
Ensure new hires are properly trained, and cross-train existing employees on a regular basis.
Promote and implement lean manufacturing improvements and events.
Control hours of work (start, breaks, lunch, and quitting time) and approve overtime when necessary.

Wrote new, as well as maintained existing, CNC programs for three, 3-axis vertical machining centers.
Performed updates to both program templates and tooling documentation for my work centers, with the emphasis
of reducing part defectives and part cycle times.
Collaborated with team members to update existing AutoCAD plant layout drawing to current accuracy.
Summer Research Intern

Underwent a ten-week long study on ceramic oxidation in simulated flight conditions, and presented findings to
peers at end of internship.
