January 2012 – July 2014
HVAC Equipment specialist working for JM Waller Inc. in a leadership capacity on facilities up to one million square
feet on the A-7 energy initiative an executive order to recommission United States Air Force facilities in an effort to
reduce the energy consumption of the HVAC related equipment by thirty percent without compromising user comfort.

Duties include verification of performance improvement and assessment of energy optimization/reduction achieved,
analysis of existing HVAC system operating and energy usage parameters. Repair of HVAC system components
necessary to restore the system to the original design parameters and efficiency. Test and balance (TAB) of air and
hydronic systems and calibration/verification of control systems. Modification of direct digital control (DDC) systems
set points, setbacks, and scheduling.

Identify, develop and administer specialized training to command and base personnel explaining the findings, actions
taken and recommendations for HVAC systems. Function as a technical advisor and instructor on the proper operation
and care of all types of HVAC and refrigeration systems. Review and evaluate the operations and maintenance

Provided professional technical assistance and building recommissioning services supporting base level civil
engineering at United States Air Force facilities worldwide. This commissioning required expert analysis, design
review, design modification evaluations and recommendations for mechanical HVAC equipment and control systems
to resolve temperature, humidity, pressurization and indoor air quality issues to ensure each HVAC system is
operating at peak energy efficiency with the goal of reducing total energy consumption by thirty percent.
President at Alternative Energy Solutions Corporation
January 1997 – January 2010
President of Alternative Energy Inc. a product development corporation with the primary focus of
development and marketization of the Volcano Pool Heating System. A unique hot gas heat recovery unit
when installed on any air conditioning system would heat a pool or spa at no additional energy expense.
While heat was being recovered the system would improve the air conditioning system efficiency up to
twenty percent. The patent was applied for on 30 SEP 1997 and the Patent No. 5,906,104 was issued 25
MAY 1999. Designed and developed all prototypes and short runs.

President at AJ’s Air Conditioning Corporation
January 2004 – January 2009
President of AJ’s Air Conditioning Inc. and AJ.s Machines. Both technical excellence service based
companies working on all aspects of HVACR and stationary manufacturing machinery primarily in the
residential, commercial, industrial and marine arena. Was the sole refrigeration contractor for Liberty
Coach and awarded to be the factory warranty station for Sub Zero refrigeration equipment on Liberty
Coach. I assumed all responsibilities in administration, sales and field operations.

General Manager at Abe Schwartz Air Conditioning
January 1991 – January 2008
Principle duties included sales, proposal writing, preventive maintenance plan development, estimating,
blue print reading, and drafting, pulling permits, invoicing, statements, payroll, workman’s compensation
and hands on field technical support when needed. I trained our field technicians as the need dictated for
technical help and customer service improvements.

Conducted system design, developed prototypes, and redesigned system HVAC systems for specialty
applications. Designed an automated outside air damper system for air dilution to cure sick building
syndrome for a large county building. Designed an automated outside air damper system to reduce energy
consumption and allowed for better dehumidification for large condominium. I Performed heat load
calculations and conducted test and balances. Manufactured and commissioned the air conditioning
equipment for the Bart Roberts which was the largest privately owned cruise ship in the world.

As an HVAC technician in my father’s company I installed and serviced a broad spectrum of residential,
commercial marine and industrial air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
