I&C TECHNICIAN II PRIME CONTROLS (INTEL OCOTILLO CAMPUS) CHANDLER, AZ
FEBRUARY 2019 – JUNE 2019
Job responsibilities included point to point (continuity) checks on wires and cables for both discrete and analog instruments on HVAC equipment and process control systems. Some of those process systems included chilled water, general exhaust, volatile exhaust, scrubbers, and ultrapure water to name a few. Tagged and terminated devices in the field and at the PLC/RIO end. Confirmed that each instrument worked properly during OAT (pre-commissioning) done with system integrator. I also documented all loop checks performed and submitted documents to management and general contractor for system turn over.

I confirmed proper device wiring, labeling, tagging, and terminations at each device and PLC. If any issues were found, I would document and report each issue through our project management system. At times, installation and/or wiring issues were quickly resolved by me when a task needed to be completed soon to meet deadlines. I also configured instruments, control valves, and damper actuators using loop calibrators, 475 HART communicator, or interface software. I/O was tested by me and simulated through PLC/HMI system. If programming support was needed, I would coordinate those efforts with Tesla's system integrators to have tasks completed in a timely manner.
