Resume
Dear Hiring Manager:
Immediately Available: Facilities Maintenance Manager with Capitol Project Management experience and a
passion for getting things done!
Due to a recent lay-off, I am searching for a new career opportunity. I have been a Facilities Maintenance and
Project Manager for 23 years. One of the most important and difficult lessons Ive learned during this time is
how to create a high-quality working atmosphere for the group of employees I supervise while improving
efficiencies and cost reductions. These areas are not only where I excel as a Maintenance Supervisor, but they
are also the areas I most enjoy. As a manager, I love to get resultswhether its hiring, training, or designing
improvements to meet corporate goals.
If I am organizing and focusing a group of people and projects, I am not only doing what comes naturally to
me, I am also doing what I most enjoy. As a Maintenance Supervisor, I have communicative skills and am
disciplined in Budgets, Procurement, Safety, MP2 CMMS Program, OSHA, IIPP, EHS, PSM and HR
responsibilities with hiring and termination expectations.
I have a significant understanding of the Technical Skills and Knowledge required for Managing Maintenance
Resources, however, as important as that may be, it is my Diversity Training and ability to Coordinate
Personalities that gets the focus across to improve Production Efficiencies.
My accomplishments have led to Significant Cost Savings by identifying Best Practices, Project Coordination,
updating Safe Work Environment and performing Predictive Maintenance and Shrink Analysis to define where
opportunities exist to enhance the bottom line and adapt accordingly.
Ive had the pleasure of reading about this position on-line. This not only impressed me, but it also gave me
extra incentive to apply for this position. I would like the opportunity to discuss this position with you in detail,
during a personal interview. I can be contacted at (936) 648-1744 to make arrangements.
Sincerely,
J.N. Ericsen
