• Designed and replaced obsolete 700 HP variable speed drive on # 2PM line shaft with an Emerson Mentor MP digital drive. Designed and implemented a project to install a variable speed drive on a pump application, reducing energy costs by $30,000/year. Reduced arc flash incident levels by utilizing EasyPower software to determine optimum short circuit hardware. Extensive work with Allen Bradley ControLogix PLC’s and Drives. Installed the required HW and SW for a Cornerstone Historian, with 4 OPCDA Servers.

Installed 20+ ABB variable speed drives on paper machine pump applications and DC Drive conversions, saving the company $200,000/year in energy costs. Replaced obsolete drive controls on an Extruder(AB ControLogix).
• E&I Maintenance Supervisor – Managed a staff of 18 Electricians, providing my technical expertise in maintaining the Rosemount RS3 DCS, Allen Bradley PLC 5 & ControlLogix PLC’s , ABB Drives, Bailey Infi 90 DCS, and Reliance DCS 5000 System.

• Installed GE drives on a paper machine to increase the speed by 100 ft/minute. This resulted in $300,000/year savings due to increased production.
