• Managed 10 employees. Seven on-site & three at remote Design Centers.
• Participated in manufacturing consolidation from four nationwide locations to one central location.
• Project manager for implementing Engineering Change Control module into our MRP, completed ahead of schedule.
• Established metrics for ECO cycle time and in a two-month period reduced ECOs by 124.
• Member of cross-functional team, co-authored several specifications for design centers and manufacturing interface. To include: Assembly drawing specification, ECO Specification & form, common part release/change process, common part numbering scheme, BOM/Sales Configuration structuring, programmable parts structuring, and prototyping process.
• Compiled and forwarded build to packages: gerbers, assembly dwg, BOMs, XY data, and programming files to contract manufacturers for quoting and lead-time.
• Established test time standards and routings to establish production schedules and costs.
