Summary

I am a responsible, ambitious, Dakota County Technical College graduate. I received my A.A.S Degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology in June of 2010. I am very excited to continue my career as a Biomedical Equipment Technician. I love the challenge, working with other BMET’s and helping people.

Other interests I have are electronics, car electronics, car and motorcycle repair and maintenance. I am a lover of nature and a supporter of the Vermillion Watershed reconstruction team. I enjoy donating my time to clean up and help to help maintain and improve natures wonders. I feel that my knowledge base of various mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic theories along with my interest to learn more about the Biomedical Equipment field makes me an excellent candidate.

Hello, My name is Jonah Carlson I am 34 and I have Graduated with an A.A.S. Biomedical Equipment Technology Degree in June of 2010 from Dakota County Technical College in Rosemount, MN. My extended Internship at Regions in St.Paul was key in my choice to stay in a hospital or clinic setting. Since then, I have I worked as a Biomedical Equipment Technician for a temp job at Fairview U of M. I worked at a company that develops, builds and tests new medical equipment which was Minnetronix which was a part time temp job. Currently, I work as a Biomedical Equipment Technician / Facility Maintenance Technician at ViroMed Laboratories. This job is being eliminated in October of 2013.
I am seeking a position within a well known Organization that will encourage my strengths as a diverse skilled, hard working, Biomedical Equipment Technician. I would like to continue on with my career as a BMET within a Hospital or Clinic setting. I appreciate the different equipment, people, situations, and opportunities to continue to learn.
