Critical Weld Inspections October 2015-Jan 2016

Recently worked on various projects as QC performing VT’s under D1.1 & D1.5 codes, including monitoring welding on CalTrans Bay Bridge and fabrication of support barges for bridge demo.

HRV August 2015-Sept 2015

Worked part time as a QA inspector over seeing structural steel fabrication for D.O.T. projects. Responsible for monitoring all welding, fabrication, and coating processes for assurance that it is within applicable NY and KY state bridge codes. Performed VT’s in accordance with D1.1 and D1.5 codes.

Doyon and Associates, LLC Feb 2014-April 2014/Feb 2015-April 2015

Worked as QC on 2 pipeline projects on North Slope of Alaska. Gained experience with exotic pipe and tig tip welding procedure. Was responsible for tracking, quality, and monitoring of all welding and mechanical work for various pipelines being installed. Performed VT’s on all welds per API 1104 codes and Doyon / Conoco Phillips specs and standards.

SoCal Gas/Tulsa Inspection July 2014-Sept 2014

Worked on Sempra project as a QC inspector to monitor welding of various pipeline projects for upgrades in the city municipal piping systems in Southern Caliornia. This included performing VT’s on all welds in adherence to their specifications and guidelines and also per API 1104. Also worked directly with client to ensure welding and installation was per their direction.

Avery Pipeline Services July 2013 to Nov 2013

Worked as a pipeline welding inspector on an Enbridge project. Responsibilities included qualifying welders on both manual and automatic welding procedures per Enbridge specifications. Monitoring welding and welders as well as VT’s of all welds completed per API 1104 and Enbridge specs. Also responsible for co-coordinating required NDE.

Critical Weld Inspections August 2008 – Dec 2012

Various projects including Bay Bridge, various Cal Trans projects and EBMud fabrication in fab shop. Worked as QA on San Francisco aquaduct pipeline project. Worked as 3rd party inspector in various fabrication shops monitoring both structural and piping projects for numerous projects. Worked as QA at Chevron for a structural retrofit representing the City of Richmond. All VT’s performed per both API 1104 and D1.1 / D1.5 codes, and also to company specs depending on client. Worked as third party inspector under the direction of ConocoPhillips QAQC manager. Responsibilities included but were not limited to: witnessing of all hydrostatic and pneumatic tests for piping systems, ensuring integrity of all work performed by contractors, and working directly with contractor quality control departments to ensure system packages met code B31.3 and plant standards.

TC Inspection March 2010 – February 2011
ConocoPhillips Refinery Rodeo, CA

Responsible for generating and turning over API 570 inspection reports to responsible parties. Work directly with applicable drawings and documents to inspect specified piping systems to update and verify information and generate necessary revisions.
Responsible for determining conditions that are out of compliance with the code. Responsibilities also included walking all systems for visual inspection per API 510 & 570 codes, logging all data and keeping organized files.

Corey Delta, Inc. April 1999 – June 2001 / Nov. 2005 to April 2008
Benicia, Ca

Tracked all welding, including mapping and documentation as well as setting up all required NDE per specs. Performed visual inspections per B31.1 and B31.3 codes along with Shell specs. Performed and generated all necessary reports, procured applicable documentation and turned over completed packages for each project to clients. Reviewed and approved welding procedures and ensured welders met those qualifications.
