As a Sales Associate at Powder-Solutions Group, I was tasked to develop and maintain strong customer
relationships and identify customer needs to match suitable solutions to meet their requirements.

My product of expertise was the BFM Flexible Fitting, a fitting designed to replace traditional hose-clamp
fittings found in the powder processing industry. To continually gain knowledge within this industry, I
participated in on-site visits, trade shows, and handover meetings with the Sales Engineers of PSG. I also
gained experience with component sales for PSG’s customers. This has included blower packages, butterfly
valves, bulk bag unloaders, and heat exchangers.

Undergraduate Research Assistant at University of Minnesota

As an Undergraduate Research Assistant, I was responsible for exploring flocculation and fluid flow of clay
suspensions with the Dutcher group at the University of Minnesota. Below you will find my research poster
summarizing the specifics of my project.

The Dutcher group is headed by Benjamin Mayhugh Assistant Professor Cari Dutcher in the Department of
Mechanical Engineering at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.

Undergraduate Research Assistant at University of Minnesota
June 2015 – August 2015 (3 months)
As an Undergraduate Research Assistant, I was responsible for designing, and building, a testing fixture
that will be used to find the strain field of a knit-mesh of shape memory alloy with the Abel group at the
University of Minnesota.
The Abel group is headed by Benjamin Mayhugh Assistant Professor Julianna Abel in the Department of
Mechanical Engineering at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.

Engineering Intern at Peerless Industrial Group
June 2014 – December 2014 (7 months)
As an Engineering Intern, I was responsible for increasing the consistency and efficiency between three
induction heat-treatment furnaces used for various chain heat-treatments and used Microsoft Excel to analyze
large amounts of Rockwell C Hardness data.

Also, I reported directly to senior engineering staff and worked closely with the engineering department
to discuss the proper course of action in regards to the induction furnaces and presented findings to senior
engineering and production supervisors to support any needed changes.

Shift Leader at Dairy Queen
May 2010 – August 2013 (3 years 4 months)
As a Shift Leader, my responsibilities included leading a team of five staff, performing the day-to-day
operations of the restaurant, providing customer service, and opening/closing the restaurant ensuring all the
duties of the other employees were performed correctly.
