Professional Experience
Production Supervisor – Ryerson, Inc. Plymouth, MN 2002 – 2015
Promoted from United Steelworker Local 2002 to Production Supervisor in 3rd year.
Oversaw production shift startup operations weekly and supervised 7-10 union steelworkers running
various machines to ensure manufactured steel parts were completed with the highest quality. Various
machines included plasma, laser, oxyfuel, slitters, and leveler machines.
Exceeded customer expectations of fulfilling specified orders and maintaining a 97% on-time delivery
rating. This was done all while maintaining safety standards required by OSHA by performing continuous
safety meetings and trainings.
Participated on the LEAN team to brainstorm and seek creative ways to cut plant spending while increasing
plant productivity. An example of this was working with each machine operator by reorganizing work
station and tool placement to improve workflow and increase productivity.
Assisted Shipping and Receiving with filling, shipping and tracking customer orders using SAP Software

overseeing classified and confidential materials needed in the repair of aircraft, and acted as a liaison
between Naval Commands and Government Contractors in reference to parts and supplies needed.
Aviation Fuels Truck Driver: Primary responsibilities included driving and operating equipment on mobile
refuel trucks, which dispensed fuel to fighter aircraft and support aircraft. Also performed maintenance on
fuel truck’s equipment.
