EXPERIENCE –
January 2015 to present
API Independent Inspector:

October 1st 2015 – November 8th, 2015 I worked for Sentinel Integrity Solutions at Shell/Motiva Norco, La. Refinery/Chemical Plant. I worked as an API-570 lead inspector for the BD-5 unit. I performed external inspections on piping in the BD-5 unit, I also reviewed new packages for approval of work. I entered data gathered by inspections into their inspection system IDMS. I reviewed NDE for approval for hydrotest and acceptance too.

August 10th, 2015 – September 9th, 2015 I worked for Sentinel Integrity at Marathon Robinson, IL. Refinery. I worked as an API-510 inspector. I was in charge of inspecting towers, and drums. I had to back fill for heaters. I performed internal and external inspections of towers and drums in their Unicracker unit.

June 1st – August 7th, 2015 I worked for Stronghold Inspection at the CVR Wynnewood refinery. I was in charge of getting the Soil to Air interfaces identified on the isometrics for the inspection group.

April 15th – May 2nd, 2015 I worked of QualSpec as and API-510/653 inspector for ethanol plants in Fairmont, NE and Arthur, IA. This job I performed internal and external inspections on storage tanks and vessels.

March 2nd – Traveled to Valero, McKee Refinery in Sunray, TX. for a three week turnaround with Stronghold Inspection. I worked as an API-510 inspector at this job. Actually started working on the site on March 4th – March 22nd. I had to do some training on the 3rd. I performed internal and external inspections on pressure vessels, exchangers, and heaters. This was in their Hydrocracker unit.

January 27th – March 1st worked at Delek Refining LTD, Tyler TX for QualSpec. Working as an API-510 inspector. I performed internal inspections on pressure vessels, exchangers, and heaters.

I have been an integral part of the client inspection group during turnarounds, unit outages and run & maintain activities. My duties included to perform Internal and External visual inspections and to perform various forms of NDE method’s, which were required on Pressure Vessels, Exchangers, Heaters, Piping, Tanks and refinery related equipment. I am familiar with the equipment on the following units: HCU, NHT, CR1 and Coker Units.
