Relevant Skills and Abilities

• Set-up, maintain, and monitor high voltage electrical systems with the use of protective relays including: General Electric IACxxx relay and SEL-551 relay, troubleshooting overcurrent faults, protection zone wiring
• Demonstrated proficiency in entry level PLC course including: Allen-Bradley 1100 and Koyo Click PLCS and associated software, troubleshooting ladder logic circuits, motor control circuits in PLC networks, C-More HMI networking and setup

• Troubleshot faults on 4-20 mA loop process following a P&ID diagram in a high stress environment
• Experienced with a variety of different controllers including: Emerson DeltaV , Siemens 353, Allen Bradley 1100
• Wired and calibrated multiple types of instruments such as analytical pH, temperature, level and flow transmitters, RTDs, I/P transducers

Waste Water Treatment Plant Job shadow City of Bellingham, WA Sept. 2015
• Assisted in troubleshooting a secondary air compressor failure
• Observed an employee troubleshoot a pump failure
• Learned about the SCADA system the City of Bellingham uses to monitor processes in city limits
• Assisted in the calibration check of level transmitters
• Reviewed PLC program for door alarm
• Learned about the entire city’s water supply system from Mt. Baker to Bellingham Bay
