I coordinate with other engineers to develop and implement a test plan for development commercial
aircraft engines. Through the full development process, I am specifically responsible for guiding
the direction needed to complete engine testing on time, while also obtaining quality data. This
includes following FAA regulations and GE policies, managing hardware, and defining the tests
needed to provide the customer with an aircraft engine that meets both GE’s specifications as well
as the customer’s expectations!

Engineering Intern at GE Digital
January 2016 – June 2016 (6 months)
I used SmartSignal to monitor mechanical/process phenomenon on a liquid natural gas facility.
This involved using charts/graphs, P&IDs/PFDs, and raw data to interpret behavior of mechanical
equipment.

I was responsible for creating engineering drawings that will be used for engineer/customer
communications. These drawings consisted of common mechanical equipment commonly found in
the oil and gas industries.

Intern at THP INC
June 2015 – August 2015 (3 months)
I disassembled drag car/boat engines and got to watch and interact with experts while they rebuilt
the engines. I also was able to sit in on dyno-testing with clients and observed the process of
utilizing graphs to tune engines for competitive racers.

Undergraduate Student Researcher at Northern Illinois University
July 2014 – May 2015 (11 months)
I studied granular flow in the flowing layer of dissipating particles due to a simulated environment. I
perform lab experiments and collect data. I process the data with MATLAB and collaborate with a
graduate student researcher to obtain a dynamic model of the particles’ motion.
