Software Developer – Seikowave, Inc November 2010-Present
• 3DSL NDT Client Software:
o Developed Qt C++ image acquisition and analysis software suite that enables oil and gas or other industrial users to scan, analyze and prepare reports on the external condition of pipelines or other objects.
• 3D Imaging Driver/API:
o Designed and wrote low level cross platform C++ API for image acquisition, image processing and 3D reconstruction.
o Extended support to multiple high speed machine vision cameras, from 60fps to 4000fps.
o Supported customer integration into their own products including manufacturing lines.
• Pipeline Fitness For Service Software:
o Developed Qt C++ program for the calculating the safe operating parameters of a pipeline based on metal loss in accordance with international standards. Generated PDF reports and stored in a SQLite database.
o The software is in use by major oil production companies around the world.
• Robotic Image Capture and Control Software:
o Developed C++ program on embedded Linux client (TI ARM) to control and monitor robot motion using multiple sensor types.
o Developed laptop client in Qt that allows both preprogrammed and manual (gamepad) controlled motion.
Software Engineering Consultant – Signal Solutions November 2009-November 2010
• EEG Intraoperative awareness monitoring:
o Used MATLAB to find time and frequency domain features, then implemented the classifier using LabVIEW and off the shelf EEG equipment.
Research Lab Assistant – Kentucky February 2008- November 2009
• Mouse Sensors:
o Used statistical optimization techniques in MATLAB to create a linear classifier for various mouse behaviors from touchpad sensors.
o Developed LabVIEW based system for data collection and implementation of automated behavior classification. Several hundred cages were built across several installations across the US.
