• Utilized Twin-Screw Extruder in reactive extrusion (TPU) process – Provox Distributive Control System was used to monitor and control the process.
• Worked with Polyester Polyol reactor in a batch operation – DeltaV Distributive Control System was used to monitor and control the process.
• Interacted with R&D, marketing, and manufacturing engineers sharing technology advancements, technical knowledge, and processing experience in order to successfully make thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPU) on Pilot Plant line and successful scale-up to a manufacturing line.
• Worked closely with maintenance department to assure equipment proper functioning and scheduling certain work orders as per process needs and requirements.
• Executed various capital projects successfully.
• Assured that Pilot Plant line executed internal and external customer orders on-time, in right amounts, and with right properties as per quality specifications.
• Provided 24/7 technical support to assure safety and quality of the process and product manufacturing.
• Assured safe operation by being proactive on near misses, housekeeping audits, and operators’ suggestions.
• Executed run summaries – collected data and detailed process information to be reported properly in order for R&D or manufacturing to make important decisions on either pursuing the project or abandoning it.
• Procured and handled raw materials and finished goods – shipping and receiving, inventory control, managing, controlling, and reporting data in SAP.
