I am a Masters’ graduate in Electrical Engineering and currently working as a Machine Learning
Engineer in the R&D division of Mesnac Americas Co.,Ltd. I enjoy working in a research
environment and have a good aptitude to learn and a desire to contribute to the development of new
technologies.

Professional experience coupled with numerous projects which involved coding in multiple
programming languages has contributed to my growth as a programmer and an algorithm developer.

I never shy away from hard work and always get the job done. Hard work, sincerity and my ability to
grasp things quickly is what has helped me in maintaining a strong academic record of which I am
proud.

I have done course work in Embedded Computer Systems, Embedded Sensor Networks, Neural
Networks, Computer Vision, Digital Signal Processing, Digital VLSI System Design to name a few.

Machine Learning Engineer at Mesnac Americas Co., Ltd
August 2015 – Present (2 years 10 months)
* Develop ML algorithms in MATLAB for the Tire and Rubber OEM industry as part of the R&D
team.
* Worked on developing a small scale prototype of autonomous cart using ROS.
* Implemented A* and D* Lite algorithm in MATLAB for a prototype automated guided vehicle
(AGV) to be used in a parcel sorting system.
* Project management experience – created project proposals, scope, budget, schedules, test plans
and project sign off documents.
* Meeting with multiple vendors to finalize components for the projects.

Embedded Systems Engineering Intern at Heta Datain
June 2014 – August 2014 (3 months)
* Developed a data logger to read data from 30 online energy meters using Raspberry Pi running
Raspbian (Linux) OS with the use of Python programming language.
* Designed and developed the data acquisition system for successful data collection from energy
meters.
* Resulting system led to reduction in cost by 70% and better configuration capabilities compared to
previous system.compared to the previous logger.
* Successfully implemented Modbus protocol for serial communication between Raspberry Pi and
energy meters.
* Data being logged 24×7 for all the meters along with a separate current file being overwritten
every one minute to show the current data to the client.
* Also configured and tested the GPIO pins of Raspberry Pi for real time assessment of Loom
Productivity Monitoring system.

Research Associate at Advance Sensing Computation & Control Lab, OSU
January 2014 – May 2014 (5 months)
* Developed a collision avoidance system for autonomous cars approaching road intersections.
* Devised two approaches to implement the collision avoidance system- distance based and time-
gap based approach, using Visual Studio IDE.
* The two approaches are based on probabilistic decision making.
* Tested the system thoroughly with both methods using RC cars.
* A test bed created specifically for autonomous car.
* Indoor positioning system used for real time tracking of the test car and other cars in the test bed.
