Major Ship Building and Repair Projects: Safety and Process Engineer. Worked in the building and repairing vessels, including flotation and storage operation tankers (FSOs); flotation, processing and
storage operation tankers (FPSOs); offshore oil rigs; very large crude carriers; liquefied natural gas
(LNG) tankers; liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tankers; and normal tankers. Worked with engineering
team during construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning phases. Worked Petrobras Brazilian

project P38 and P40 project. Developed pre-commission plan. Organized and facilitated HAZOP
analysis. Conducted incident investigations, identified root cause (using fish bone chart and Pareto
analysis) and recommended solutions. Participated in pre-commissioning such as equipment leak
tests, steam blowing, water run chemical cleaning and passivation. Developed guidelines and specifications for the handling of dangerous chemicals. Approved hot-work and chemical cleaning

Evaluated the engineering design package of ammonia plant (PFDs, material and energy balances,
P&IDs, equipment list and plant operating manual) provided by the process licensor or vendor.
Oversaw the erection works of ammonia plant and coordinated the activities of the process licensor
(Haldor Topsøe A/S), general contractor/vendors (Chiyoda), and production department of KAFCO.
Actively participated in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, such as individual
equipment leak tests, steam blowing, water run chemical cleaning and passivation, refractory brick
drying, as well start-up and test runs of different turbines, compressors and pumps or individual
loops. Involved in performance test calculation of reactors. Prepared and corrected Standard
operating Procedure (SOP) of ammonia plant. Developed procedures and involved personally during catalyst loading of different reactors, such as primary and secondary reformers, high and low
temperature CO converters, methanetor and ammonia converter. Knowledge of absorber to remove
CO2 as an impurity during ammonia production and regenerator to separate CO2 and use it as a raw
material of urea production. Involved in ammonia plant capacity increase study and steam
consumption reduction project. Worked as a shift in charge once handover complete. Worked in utility system such as boiler feed water system, steam system, cooling water system, nitrogen,
instrument and process air generation unit. Experienced in boiler feed and potable water treatment
system using ion exchange. Knowledge of troubleshooting and continuous improvement. pre- commissioning/commissioning of a unit with catalyst including drying by avoiding sintering and
preservation. Conducted daily meeting with operators and group leader to provide daily instruction.
Approved maintenance work order from operation and liaison with other departments/contractors to alignment with all plant maintenance. Calculated daily production, reagents and energy consumption
including steam.
