I served as a manufacturer’s rep. for ABB, Siemens, Yokagawa,
and Daniel Ind. in the past. I have been consulting under KTEC
since 2006, serving most major land based drilling contractors as
well as offshore platforms.

Hired as a Senior Tech. at ABB Process Analytics in 1985,
moved into the service dept. In Louisiana and operated as a
Senior Field Eng. under Dick McDowell up until moving on to
Yokagawa, Siemens, and Daniel Industries over the next several
years.

Job Objective To secure a position within the petrochemical controls/
measurement arena. I have worked in the controls business from
the well to the blending station and have kept up with the
advances in data management and the telemetry required to
transfer the end results.

These integrated systems were fabricated by MI and
Yokogawa in Houston and Chino.

Hired in as a Senior Test Tech. in 1985 ABB Process Analytics
April 1985 to May 1996
moved into the Field in 1988 out of Baton Rouge. Systems
integration, system commissioning, and field service
calls at nearly all of the chem. plants in Louisiana and
Texas. Was involved in software testing at Dow, RVP
analyzer development, and many other projects during that period. Left ABB for Yokogawa as a step
up, it was worth it.

Skills I can design, commission, and service analytical systems in the
oil and gas industry. From the drilling systems at the well to the
blending stations in the refinery and most points in between.
ABB – development of Vista Series GC/PRO DIS/RVP
Commissioned the entire analytical system at Mobil, Beaumont as
an example.
YOKOGAWA – Was directly involved in the introduction of the
Yok. GC 1000 into the US market, attended the kickoff meetings
in Mitaka, Japan and sold the 1st GC into a US chem. plant.
SEIMENS – commissioned the first Siemens systems into BASF in
Louisana ( pre merger )
DANIEL IND. – commissioned ‘pay meter’ systems on multiple
power plants in the Villahermosa area, Mexico.
