Projects:
A Novel Approach for Rollover prevention through active suspension and differential braking
September 2013 to January 2014:
• The project aimed to design a rollover prevention controller for vehicle systems. The vehicle rollover can be prevented by designing LQR controller that minimizes the lateral acceleration, yaw rate error, the roll angle. The differential braking and active suspension are used to generate a yaw and roll moments to prevent roll over once propensity to roll detected using roll over index.
Transient Control of Electro-Hydraulic Fully Flexible Engine Valve Actuation System
September 2013- December 2013
• The project aimed to control the transient dynamic of the fully flexible engine valve actuation system (FFVA) which comprises lift transient, duration transient, phase transient, speed transient, and mode transient using dual control of robust repetitive control and proportional, integral and derivative control (PID) switched in real-time to track desired profile performance
Robust control of Gensets
January 2012 to May 2012;
• A robust performance controller designed to regulate the voltage output of a diesel Gensets that eliminates the effect of engine speed variation on the voltage control using affine parametrization control.
